Dolomite

Dolomite is used for many of the purposes for which limestone is used. Often little distinction is made between limestone and dolomite, and both are often sold under the name of limestone. Since dolomite grades into limestone by imperceptible degrees, passing from a pure dolomite through high and low magnesium limestone to pure limestone, this lack of careful distinction is often justifiable.
